Day 2: Deep Serengeti Exploration and the Great Migration
Spend a full day traversing the Serengeti’s varied ecosystems, from savanna woodlands to endless grasslands, tracking the Great Migration based on the specific movements of the herds.
On this day, we head to the far reaches of the park—north, south, east, or west—depending on where the “Mega-herd” is located. In 2026, the movement of over 1.5 million wildebeest is the primary focus.

Day 3: Sunrise in the Serengeti and the Gateway to Karatu
Start with a 6:00 AM game drive to catch the golden hour, followed by a “brunch” at camp before a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands to Karatu.
The early morning air in the Serengeti is crisp and carries the scent of wild sage. This is the best time to see nocturnal hunters like hyenas and bat-eared foxes returning to their dens. As we exit the Serengeti, we move into the lush, green highlands of Ngorongoro.

Day 5: The Land of Giants – Tarangire to Zanzibar
Explore Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees and massive elephant herds, before heading to Arusha for your return flight to Zanzibar.
Tarangire is often the “hidden gem” of this itinerary. While the Serengeti is famous for its scale, Tarangire is famous for its character. The baobab trees, some over 1,000 years old, create a prehistoric atmosphere.
We focus on the Tarangire River, where elephants congregate in families of up to 300. Watching the interaction between elephant calves and their matriarchs is a profound way to end your safari journey.
